Breakfast, After School & Holiday Club
Little Treasures Nursery provide care for children over the age of five before and after school. We also provide a holiday club during school holidays, children go on trips to museums and take part in activities such as swimming, bowling and visits to local parks to keep them entertained.
Please contact us for more information.
At Little Treasures Nursery we have 4 rooms which children can play and explore their surroundings as well as a garden area for outdoor exploration and play. Each room has been tailored to suit the needs of particular age groups; babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Our baby room is carpeted with ample floor space to ensure the children are warm, comfortable and confident to explore, just as they would be at home.
Our toddler room is perfectly suited to messy play. Leading to the garden, the toddler room provides an unrestricted view of the garden which allows children to develop their curiosity of the wider world. With moveable furniture and role play areas, children become confident explorers and become secure in the prime areas of learning.
Our preschool rooms allow our oldest children to develop independence and really hone in on specific areas of learning such as mathematics and literacy while still encouraging social skills and confidence. Use of ICT is encouraged at this age and children have access to computers and iPads to engage with educational games and activities.
Uniform & Book bags
Children at Little Treasures Nursery are encouraged to wear uniform. We have t-shirts and sweatshirts available in a range of sizes.
Children are provided with a book bag in order to promote reading and a home/nursery partnership. Parents are expected to record comments about time spent reading with their child in the provided record book. Parents are also encouraged to leave comments about their child’s progress or activities at home.
We are registered with and regulated by Ofsted. Our nursery has a Good Ofsted rating, a copy of our most recent inspection report can be found here.
